How Can I rent a train for 200 to travel from Miami to Atlanta?
I need a group of 200 people to travel from Miami to Atlanta on June of 2009? I tried to charter a plane and motor coaches but they are expensive is it possible to rent a train?

Contact Amtrack and Let them know you will be a large group traveling together. They will be helpful.

You can rule out Amtrak. The only train route they operate that stops in Atlanta goes from Washington to New Orleans, and doesn't otherwise connect with a train to Miami. I don't think you want your guests to first travel up to the northeast before being able to travel to Atlanta. Typically, the least expensive option is a bus. You may want to shop around a bit with various bus charter companies and see if you can get a better quote.

What is the cheapest way to travel from Atlanta, GA to Huntsville, AL?
I, being a college kid, need to travel back home with as little money leaving my pocket as possible. I want to leave Oct. 10th and get back Oct 14th, if that helps. And also, I have a friend in Atlanta and a friend in Demorest that would probably want to come. None of us have cars on campus, but we can probably get one of our parents to pick us up and us just carpool. Would that be the cheapest?

Well, airfares from Atlanta to Huntsville on Delta are $233 roundtrip per person, and a fare I found for Greyhound from Atlanta to Huntsville is $66 per person roundtrip (non refundable). Might be cheaper to have your parents take you.

It depends on what they're driving, but the car would probably be cheapest for three people. If you book in advance you can get cheaper fares on greyhound, so start thinking about your xmas trip soon.

You can find cheap flights on Tuesdays. You have to catch them they go fast. I would say the bus is cheapest but take the longest. The question is would you rather a longer trip on the road verses spending a little more and having more time for vacation? Good Luck

That all depends on how many stopovers there are and if there are any delays. If it's a direct flight it should not take any longer than 12 hours. If it's not in can take a day.
